Volunteer Mediators
Qualifications:
Certified Mediators under Rule 114 or those who are willing to be trained and certified as Mediators under Rule 114
Time Commitment:
1 year @ 2 hours per month minimum.
Juvenile Diversion Volunteer
Qualifications:
Trained in Restorative Justice and experience working with African youth/families or a willingness to be trained in Restorative justice.
Time Commitment:
1 year @ 2 hours per month minimum.
Administrative Volunteer
Qualifications:
Experience with secretarial work, data entry, social media engagement, copy writing, and/or general office work.
Time Commitment:
6 months @ 2 hours per month minimum.
All Volunteers...
are expected to have a passion for working with Somali, East African, or multiethnic communities. All volunteers are expected to care deeply about restorative justice and culturally aware conflict resolution.
